The main content of Eurotext is held under two major sections: 'EU Policy Documents' where the user has access to the full text of key documents on a wide range of topics; and 'Relevant Resources' which serves as a gateway for those users who wish to expl ore the WWW for other relevant information. Click on the appropriate icon below to enter these sections of Eurotext.
The policy documents available on Eurotext are fully searchable. 'EU Policy Search' offers the user a choice of searching by keyword or by entering the bibliographic details of a particular document. There is also a 'Eurotext Help' section which contains a simple user's guide on how to make to most of the facilities Eurotext offers. These two sections are currently under development and can be accessed by clicking on the appropriate icons below.
An important aspect of the project is the involvement of academics. UK academics involved in teaching EU-related issues may register their interest in the project, request further information on specific aspects of the project or recommend texts to be inc luded by completing the simple forms contained within the 'Academic Introductions' or 'Academic Network' sections of Eurotext.
There are subscription details availableand an example of portal an addition option available by subscription. There is also a 'About Eurotext' section providing information about the project, contact details of the personnel involved, details of Eurotext's progress to date and access statistics for the Eurotext server.
The development of this service is being undertaken jointly by the Universities of Hull, Lincolnshire & Humberside and Ulster, and is being funded by JISC under the Electronic Libraries Programme (eLib).
